Rakesh Khanna received the award from Mrs. Oppenheimer in Tokyo — recognised as the "Oscar" of the jewellery industry — for an invisibly-set, ikat-patterned gold and black enamel cuff, a defining night for the house documented here alongside the winning piece itself.
